Inclusion Criteria
150 adult patients, aged 20-70 yr with American society of anesthesiologists physical status I and II, undergoing elective abdominal surgery were enrolled.
Exclusion Criteria
Exclusion criteria were obesity with a BMI of more than 30 kg/m2, administration of antiemetics or steroids within 24 h before the operation, and abnormal renal and/or hepatic function.
