Inclusion Criteria
Age 18-50
Shoulder pain with palpable taut band in the upper trapezius muscle. Significant pain must be reproduced when pressure is applied over the taut band.
Pain intensity is at least 4 out of 10 measured by numeric pain rating scale.
Exclusion Criteria
Having neurodeficit or muscle disease
Known case of rheumatic disease
Having coagulation disorder
Previous neck and shoulder surgery
Previous failure of treatment with trigger point injection or needling
