Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Shoulder pain with palpable taut band in the upper trapezius muscle. Significant pain must be reproduced when pressure is applied over the taut band.
  • •Pain intensity is at least 4 out of 10 measured by numeric pain rating scale.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Having neurodeficit or muscle disease
  • •Known case of rheumatic disease
  • •Having coagulation disorder
  • •Previous neck and shoulder surgery
  • •Previous failure of treatment with trigger point injection or needling
