1. age 18 year-old or more
2. Type 2 DM
3. on constant statin-dose more than 3 months
4. Difference in LDL-C level less than 30% within 1 year before recruiting to the study
5. Able to inform and consent
1.No history of steroid use within 6 months before recruiting to the study
2.No history of drug interfering cortisol metabolism
3.Diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency or Cushing syndrome
4.glomerular filtration rate < 30 ml/min/1.73 m2
5.cirrhosis
6.Serum albumin < 2.5 mg/dl
7.During acute illness
8.Abnormal thyroid function
9.contraceptive pill
10.On lipid-lowering treatments other than statin
