1. Limitation of passive movement in the glenohumeral joint compared with the unaffected side, more than 30 degrees for at least two of these two movements: abduction or external rotation
2. Pain in predominantly one shoulder lasting for more than 3 months, less than 2 years.
3. Patients who are willing to come for follow up
1. Less than 35yrs of age.
2. Pain in the shoulder joint less than 3 months duration.
3. Any previous injection in the affected shoulder
4. Shoulder pain due to acute trauma fractures, bony deformity, glenohumeral joint arthritis, acromioclavicular joint pathology and rotator cuff disorder, cervical rediculopathy
5. Bleeding disorder, acute and chronic infection, allergy to local anesthetic or any other contraindication for injection.
6. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus
7. Pregnancy
