All clinically proven psoriasis patients presenting to the outpatient department of dermatology, JSS hospital between age 18-50years
Palmo plantar psoriasis, pustular psoriasis
Hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, hypothyroidism, dyslipidaemia, Cushing’s syndrome, connective tissue disorders.
Pregnant and lactating females.
Smoking , alcohol
Patients on oral steroids, retinoids, cyclosporine and other drugs that have a role in altering blood lipid levels and blood sugar levels

Name Time Method ormal carotid artery intima-media thickness for middle-aged, healthy adults is usually between 0.7-0.8 millimeters. Test results showing a thickness of more than 0.8mm may mean a high risk of cardiovascular disease. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Baseline
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method waist circumference over 40 inches (men) or 35 inches (women), <br/ ><br>blood pressure over 130/85 mmHg, <br/ ><br>Fasting triglyceride (TG) level over 150 mg/dl, <br/ ><br>fasting high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol level less than 40 mg/dl (men) or 50 mg/dl (women) and <br/ ><br>fasting blood sugar over 100 mg/dl.Timepoint: Baseline
