Inclusion Criteria

All clinically proven psoriasis patients presenting to the outpatient department of dermatology, JSS hospital between age 18-50years

Exclusion Criteria

Palmo plantar psoriasis, pustular psoriasis

Hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, hypothyroidism, dyslipidaemia, Cushing’s syndrome, connective tissue disorders.

Pregnant and lactating females.

Smoking , alcohol

Patients on oral steroids, retinoids, cyclosporine and other drugs that have a role in altering blood lipid levels and blood sugar levels

ormal carotid artery intima-media thickness for middle-aged, healthy adults is usually between 0.7-0.8 millimeters. Test results showing a thickness of more than 0.8mm may mean a high risk of cardiovascular disease.  <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Baseline
