ASA physical status II subjects undergoing elective caesarean delivery under spinal anaesthesia with Body mass index of 18.5 â?? 34.9 kg/m 2
Patient refusal
Patients with a history of cardiac, respiratory, renal or hepatic failure
Coagulation disorders
Local infection at the site of block
Psychological disorders
Allergy to study medications
Chronic use of pain medications or adrenoreceptor agonists or antagonists
History of tolerance to opiates
BMI >35 kg/m2
Height <150cms
Pre-eclampsia
Contraindication to neuraxial anaesthesia

Name Time Method Pain- time taken for first request of analgesia,pain intensity,total tramadol consumed,patient satisfaction for analgesia.Timepoint: Pain intensity at 0mins,30mins,1hr and every 2nd hourly thereafter for 24hrs <br/ ><br>Tramadol consumption and patient satisfaction- once 24h after surgery
