its is a prospective study done in rainbow childrens Hospital , banjara Hills Hyderabad. it is done over a period of 1 year . subjects are included based on the inclusion criteria and renal resistive index is done accordingly. renal resistive index is followed till day 3 . data is collected and analysed whether renal resistive index helps in predicting Acute kidney injury.

•all critically ill patients(SOFA >4) 2)length of stay longer than 72 hrs.

排除标准

•renal artery disease 2)children with chronic kidney disease 3)cirrhosis with hepato renal syndrome 4)use of renin angiotensin aldosterone antagonists 5)AKI on renal replacement therapy.

结局指标

主要结局

whether renal resistive index helps in predicting Acute kidney injury or not

时间窗: it will be acessed at the time of discharge of each patient

次要结局

whether renal resistive index helps in early identification of Acute kidney injury(renal resistive index acessed on first 3 days of admission)
