1) Meets the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese and Western medicine for knee osteoarthritis, belonging to the attack and remission stages; 2) Age range: 45-75 years old; 3) Patients with K-L staging of stages I, II, and III; 4) Patients with knee joint bone marrow edema under magnetic resonance imaging; 5) Sign the informed consent form and agree to join the patients in this study.
1) Not meeting the diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis; 2) K-L stage belongs to stage 0 or IV; 3) Uncontrolled joint infections, active joint tuberculosis, acute knee arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or local wounds; 4) Patients with meniscus or cruciate ligament injuries or other damages; 5) The affected limb has severe knee joint deformities, or is accompanied by severe vascular and neurological disorders or severe osteoporosis; 6) Have taken drugs that affect bone metabolism such as estrogen, steroid hormones, calcitonin, parathyroid hormone, bisphosphonates, fluoride, vitamin D, anticonvulsants, diuretics, etc. in the past 6 months; 7) Combined with severe primary type I diseases such as cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, and hematopoietic systems; 8) Combined with severe liver and kidney dysfunction; 9) Patients with mental illness or elderly dementia; 10) Allergic constitution, active period of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation.
