1.age 18-60 years
2.all genders
3.patients posted for elective forearm orthopaedic surgeries under single shot brachial plexus block
(BPB)
4.BPB achieved by either supraclavicular,infraclavicular or axillary approach
1.patients needing conversion to general anaesthesia at any time point during intraoperative period
2.patients needing admission to HDU/ICU in first 24 hours of surgery
3.patients in whom a catheter based technique of PNB was used
4.patients on chronic analgesic medication
5.patients with delirium
6.patients on oral or intravenous steroid
7.patients having history of substance abuse
8.patients on antipsychotic medications
