Modified Mallampatti 1 & 2
BMI < 30 KG/M2
1.Patient’s refusal to take part in the study.
2.Patients with anticipated difficult airway, reduced mouth opening/disease of oral cavity
3.Patients requiring more than three attempts at intubation or I-gel insertion.
4.Surgery lasting more than more than 2 hours.
5.Very anxious patients or those who are unable to communicate.
6.Severe systemic disorder involving any particular system (respiratory, CVS, renal etc.) or in combination.
7.Inadequate cervical mobility/cervical malformation.
8.full stomach/increased risk of aspiration (GERD, hiatus hernia, diabetes mellitus)
