Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Persons with osteoarthritis of knee as per 2016 revised ACR criteria for early diagnosis of osteoarthritis
  • Radiologic tibiofemoral OA (Kellgren Lawrence grade 3,4\)
  • Positive diagnostic block ( \>50% improvement in pain)

Exclusion Criteria

  • Bilateral OA knee of grade 3 or more
  • Prior knee surgery/ injury
  • Arthritis due to other causes
  • Serious neurologic/psychiatric disorder
  • Injection with steroids/hyaluronan in the last 3months
  • Uncontrolled diabetes
  • Coagulation disorder
  • VAS score \< 5
  • Infection local or systemic
  • Allergy to anaesthetic medication used
