Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Persons with osteoarthritis of knee as per 2016 revised ACR criteria for early diagnosis of osteoarthritis
  • •Radiologic tibiofemoral OA (Kellgren Lawrence grade 3,4\)
  • •Positive diagnostic block ( \>50% improvement in pain)

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Bilateral OA knee of grade 3 or more
  • •Prior knee surgery/ injury
  • •Arthritis due to other causes
  • •Serious neurologic/psychiatric disorder
  • •Injection with steroids/hyaluronan in the last 3months
  • •Uncontrolled diabetes
  • •Coagulation disorder
  • •VAS score \< 5
  • •Infection local or systemic
  • •Allergy to anaesthetic medication used
