Inclusion Criteria

• agree to receive treatment according to the research plan
• undergoing surgery By choosing the method of anesthesia and endotracheal tube
• Age 18-65 years
• ASA I-II (patients who do not have any underlying disease or have underlying disease that can control the symptoms and do not have severe complications)
• able to read, write and understand Thai

Exclusion Criteria

• Refusing to participate in research
• have a history of hypersensitivity to lidocaine or other local anesthetics
• Patients with abnormal liver and kidney function
• Patients with congestive heart failure, recent myocardial infarction and cardiac arrhythmia such as AV block, atria fibrillation, Ventricular tachycardia
• Problems with communication using language (language barrier)
• Patients with a history of asthma or emphysema
• Patients with a history of upper respiratory infections within 2 weeks.
• Patients with high blood pressure and receiving ACEI
• Patients who are pregnant Or is breast-feeding
• The patient undergoes emergency surgery.
• • Patients with adverse effects from coughing, such as patients with increased intracranial pressure and rupture globe
• ASA classification 3 and above
