* Neurodegenerative disease with a Language deficit
* Dutch speaking
* Age between 20-90
* Normal or corrected-to-normal vision and hearing
* Informed consent
* An impaired performance on the SYDBAT-NL
* Inability to speak/understand the Dutch language.
* Current psychiatric disorder, such as psychosis or major depression
* Current substance abuse
* Current or past neurological disorder, such as severe cerebral disease, e.g. Parkinson*s disease, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, central nervous system infection, brain tumor, and alcoholic encephalopathy. N.B. Transient Ischaemic Attack, lacunar infarction and white matter lesions are no exclusion criteria.
* Cognitive disorders in multiple other cognitive domains than language (e.g. memory or executive function deficits, as defined by cognitive test performance 2 or more standard deviation below normative scores);The exclusion criteria for undergoing an DTI scanning procedure are:
* Electronically, magnetically and mechanically activated implants (e.g. cardiac
pacemakers, defibrillators) or metallic devices (e.g. prosthetic heart valves) which
could be affected by the magnetic field
* Claustrophobia
* Loose metallic objects in the body (e.g. metallic fragments in the eyes from
occupational exposure) which could be moved by the magnetic field
* inability to lie flat comfortably in the MRI scanner for 30 minutes
