- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To determine whether ultrasonography of the Subclavian vein will predict hypotension following induction of general anaesthesia in patients for elective surgery.Timepoint: Ultrasound will be done 10-15 Mins prior to induction.

Post induction BP measurements will be made every one minute for 10 mins.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Subclavian vein collapsibility is indicative of fluid status of the patient.

Timepoint: Subclavian vein collapsibility will be measured 10-15 mins prior to induction.
