Inclusion: age between 40-65 years old, FBS Equal or geater than 126 mg/dl, non smoking patients,
exclusin criteria: CRP > 10 mg/l , not taking multivitamins and minerals, not using insulin and fat lowering drugs

Name Time Method Assessment of serum beta carotene. Timepoint: At the beginning and after 2 months intervention. Method of measurement: with HPLC.;Assessment of serum inflammatory factors CRP, IL6. Timepoint: At the beginning and after 2 months intervention. Method of measurement: with ELISA.;Assessment of serum lipid profile TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C.
