Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To investigate the neural mechanisms involved in the retroactive and prospective enhancement of episodic memory induced by prediction errors. For this purpose, participants will undergo either a TMS upon the right superior parietal cortex or a Sham stimulation before performing a fear conditioning task with a surprise recognition test. Physiological measures will be recorded during the fear conditioning task. This results in two experimental groups.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Improved understanding of the neural mechanisms of prediction error induced episodic memory enhancement
