Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Children aged 2\-59 months presenting with acute diarrhoea with wasting
- •Acute diarrhoea being defined as per WHO as three or more than three loose stools with recent change in consistency in past 24 hours.
- •Wasting being defined as weight for length/height \<\-2 SD
Exclusion Criteria
- •Children who have received IV hydration outside before presenting
- •Children with diarrhoea with known chronic illness like chronic liver disease or chronic kidney disease
- •Children presenting with shock /life threatening conditions
