Inclusion Criteria
Patients who presented to our center between April 2014 and March 2020 and met the following criteria:
- Coded principal diagnosis adenocarcinoma of the gatroesophageal junction (AEG), coded under ICD codes C15.9 and C16.9
- Histological confirmation of the findings
- Documented endoscopically insufficient squamous reepithelialization.
- Presence of endoscopic control examination in the center
Exclusion Criteria
- Squamous cell carcinoma
- Wound healing disorder after oesophageal resection
