入排标准
入选标准
- •1.Completely edentulous patients
- •2.Patients 60 years and above
- •3.Patients who have never used complete dentures and seek new dentures
- •4.Patients without cognitive impairment (MMSE <24)
- •5.Patients who are able to understand and respond to instructions and questionnaires.
排除标准
- •1.Patients less than 60 years of age
- •2.Patients with uncontrolled diabetes(HbA1c =6.5%), an infectious disease or debilitating conditions (terminally ill or immuno-compromised patients).
- •3.Patients who are obese(BMI >30) or with adequate nutritional status (Mini Nutritional Assessment score equals or above 24)
- •4.Patients who will not be willing to participate in the study, or refuse to continue with the questionnaire.
- •5.Received professional nutritional counseling and following a prescribed diet plan or on oral nutritional supplements.
- •6.Living in an institution.
- •7.Patients with existing complete dentures seeking replacement.
