Volunteers diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus undergoing regular medical follow-up; both genders; minimum age of 60 years; have medical clearance to practice physical activity; normal performance, adjusted for education, on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE); minimum visual acuity of 20/30, with or without corrective lenses
Diagnosis of cardiovascular and osteoarticular diseases that make it impossible to carry out the intervention program or that may be worsened by exercise; have participated in a structured physical training program in the last three months; have a neurodegenerative disease, traumatic brain injury and/or history of a stroke; Inability to walk 3 meters; in use of cholinesterase inhibitors
