15–50 European standard drinks per week (European standard drinks contain about 10 g pure alcohol)

No history of treatment for addiction.
No use of medication that may interact with alcohol.
No contra-indications for propranolol:
sick-sinussyndrome, second- and thirddegree atrioventriculair-block, hypotension, cardiogene shock, clinically relevant sinusbradycardie, asthma and othetr obstructive longdiseases or untreated hartfailure.

Name Time Method Main Objective: Weakening of previous learned positive associations with alcohol by propranolol administered immediately upon retrieval of these associative memories.;Secondary Objective: ;Primary end point(s): 1. scores on computertasks, comparison of scores from placebo and propranolol treatment.<br>2. subjective craving-scores using VAS-questionaires after completion of the computertasks<br>
