1.All cases of previous head and neck squamous cell cancer, in one of the following subsites of head and neck area: oral cavity, oropharynx, larynx, hypopharynx, nasopharynx, paranasal sinus, salivary gland, or having suffered of a cancer of unknown primary (CUP) in head and neck area.
2. Adults more than 18 years of age.
3.Patients who are on radiation therapy, with curative or postoperative intent.
4.Patients with vitamin D level <30 ng/ml.
5.Patients giving informed written consent.
1.Patients not diagnosed with cancer
2.Patients having cancer of area other than head and neck
3.Head and neck cancer other than squamous cell carcinoma (adenocarcinoma, mucoepidermoid carcinoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, angiofibroma, basal cell carcinoma)
4.Patients with psychiatric disorder
5.Patients not giving consent for the intervention.
6.Patients diagnosed with diabetes, neuropathies, hypertension, renal disease, heart disease, hypothyroidism, autoimmune disease, blood dyscariasis.
7.Vitamin D > 30 ng/ml
