The OSH education intervention module incorporated with Health Belief Model (HBM) had a significantly greater positive effect at the two-week follow-up. However, it became comparable to the control group at the three-month follow-up. Besides, respondents who received an HBM-incorporated OSH education module showed significantly better OSH knowledge and attitudes scores than their counterparts at two-week and three-month follow-ups.

Employees of small and medium-sized food and beverage manufacturers in Selangor
i. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that were employing a certified OSH officer
ii. SMEs that were participating in an ongoing safety programme by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia
iii. Employees below 18 years of age
iv. Employees with limited understanding of the Malay Language since the study instrument and the intervention module are in the Malay Language
