Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients undergoing elective unilateral open inguinal hernia repair
  • •2\. Aged between 18 and 60 years of age
  • •3\. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) class 1 and 2

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Allergy to local anaesthetic
  • •2\. BMI \>35kg/m2
  • •3\. Chronic abuse of analgesic medications
  • •4\. Bleeding disorder, pregnancy and infection near the procedure area
