- Pregnant women
- Constipation as defined by the Rome III criteria
- Third trimester

Exclusion Criteria

- Use of any laxatives 4 weeks before intake
- Gastro-intestinal surgery in the medical history
- Metabolic disease explaining constipation symptoms
