Inclusion Criteria
Patients of either sex having senile cataract graded as per LOCS III grading will undergo phacoemulsification surgery with foldable IOL implantation in the bag using 2.2 mm incision or 2.8 mm incision
Exclusion Criteria
Pterygium grade II and III
Corneal opacity
Uveitis or other inflammatory eye diseases
Complicated cataract
Traumatic cataract
Diabetic retinopathy
Previous ocular surgery
Irregular Astigmatism

Name Time Method To compare surgically induced astigmatism after 2.2mm and 2.8mm clear corneal incision in phacoemulsification. <br/ ><br>To compare elapsed phaco time (EPT) and absolute phaco time (APT) during phacoemulsification in both the groups and the changes in anterior and posterior corneal curvature and corneal thickness after phacoemulsification with 2.2mm and 2.8mm incision. <br/ ><br>To assess the duration of stabilization of above parameters using anterior segment analyzerTimepoint: 1 week 3 weeks 6 weeks
