• Colon cancer with liver metastases.
• Eligible for a liver resection procedure.

Exclusion Criteria

• Being abroad for more than one week during the month preceding the surgery
• Suffering from malabsorption
• Having an artificial cardiac pacemaker
• Laparoscopic surgery
