Inclusion Criteria
1. CKD stage 3-4 (estimated GFR 15-59 ml/min/m2) patients
2. Serum bicarbonate < 22 mmol/L
Exclusion Criteria
1. Neuromuscular diseases
2. Autoimmune or tranplnted patients who currently receiving immunosuppressive agents (steroids included)
3. Rapidly declining of eGFR
4. Resistant hypertension
5. Fluid overload or heart failure status
6. Morbid obesity (BMI > 35 kg/m2)
7. Patients with cardiac devices
