Inclusion Criteria

The participants have to be a member in a sports club for years, several times a year participate in sports competitions but can not be described as professionals,

Have never suffered from cardiovascular disease, in particular never syncopated or pectanginous events are reported either at rest nor under physical stress,

Did not show any abnormalities in a physical examination by the applicant, in particular no arrhythmias, no systolic or diastolic noise,
Which have no peculiarities in an ECG to be performed before the test, in particular no arrhythmias, no signs of left heart hypertrophy or disturbances of excitation.

The systolic and the diastolic blood pressure at rest must lie in the normal range.

No disease symptoms have been reported during the last 2 weeks before the test. On the day of the examination, the subject must also feel completely free of any symptoms.

It must have a well-visible vein in the area of the upper forearm, in order to further reduce the risk of malocclusions and nerve lesions

Exclusion Criteria

Due to the very strict inclusion criteria, there are no addition exclusion criteria

Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
During the spiroergometrie, the amount of O2 absorbed and the volume of CO2 exhaled are measured continuously. Thus, the tota Amount ofl CO2 exhaled can be calculated for each 4 minute period. At the same time, the sum of bicarbonate and physically dissolved CO2 is determined at the end of each load step by blood gas analysis. Any resulting differences to the resting state shall be taken into account when calculating the amount of CO2 formed at the cellular level. The corrected RER is then calculated as follows: VO2 / (VCO2 - (CO2 from bicarbonate + physically dissolved CO2). In addition, the distribution volume of bicarbonate must be taken into account.
The corrected RER should be a more reliable measure for the use of the substrates glucose and fat in intensive physical exercise.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
The influence of the metabolic acidosis on the ionized calcium and the parathomone is to be determined using the example of the physical load, as well as the influence of the load on the pituitary-adrenal axis.
For this purpose, the ionized calcium from the blood gas analysis and the total calcium and the parathormone, the ACTH and the cortisol are determined at the end of each exposure step from the serum or plasma.
