Individuals aged 18 or over; systemically healthy or controlled American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) (ASA I / ASA II); with minimum palatal tissue thickness 2mm assessed with a University of North Carolina (UNC) periodontal probe; both genders
Smokers and alcoholics; individuals with altered coagulation, i.e., history of hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, or currently undergoing anticoagulant therapy; individuals with altered healing patterns, that is, decompensated type 2 Diabetes Mellitus; pregnant and breastfeeding women; individuals with a history of bacterial endocarditis; with continuous use of anti-inflammatories and corticosteroids; individuals who underwent gum grafting in the last 6 months
