Inclusion Criteria
1)orthodontic patients who have undergone upper first premolar extraction and require distal movement of the canines after completion of levelling and aligning
2)good oral hygiene and healthy periodontium
3)non smokers
4) modified gingival index score that would indicate good oral hygiene with no or minimal visible signs of inflammation
Exclusion Criteria
-History of systemic or infective disease or antibiotic
therapy within the past 1 month
-History of consumption of anti-inflammatory
drugs during the month preceding the study.

region

by an informed consent
