Inclusion Criteria
Patients belonging to ASA class 1/2/3 posted for elective craniotomy for Supratentorial brain tumours
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with pre existing renal failure( serum creatinine >2) patients with electrolyte disturbances
Patients having received previous mannitol therapy
