Group A) individuals 40-75yrs age and both genders; without having diabetes mellitus.
Group B) individuals 40-75yrs age and both genders, diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and havenâ??t developed any retinal complication.
Group C) individuals 40-75yrs age and both genders, with diabetes mellitus and diagnosed with non proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
Group D) individuals 40-75yrs age and both genders, with diabetes mellitus and diagnosed with proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
i. individuals with other retinal conditions
ii. individuals undergone recent surgery or recent blood transfusion ( <3months)
iii. individuals having other comorbid diseases like malignancies, severe systemic illness
iv. chronic alcoholics
v. anaemic patients
