Inclusion Criteria

children between 8yrs and 18yrs with confirmed dengue fever

Exclusion Criteria

children in whom oral medications are contraindicated

children with known hypersensitivity to Doxycycline

Children on antiepileptic drugs

children who have recieved doxycycline elsewhere for present illness
