Brief Summary

EFFECT OF RAMP WARM UP ON SPEED, AGILITY AND ENDURANCE FOR COMPETITIVE PREPARATION IN FOOTBALL PLAYER- AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY

**Investigator****: Dr. Kamlesh Vadher PT, Dr. Maitrey Pandya PT, School of Physiotherapy, RK University**

**Background:** Football player is more prone to get injury because of vigorous training drill majorly also when they play the game on field intensely. So warm up is necessary. Many different types of warm up is used. But no study has been done which shows results of RAMP warm up in game. This study focused to find out the effect of RAMP warm up on speed, agility and endurance for competitive preparation in football player.

**Methods:**50 Football players will be selected as per inclusion and exclusion Criteria. Making football player understand the warmup procedure, passive written consent form will be signed to every football player. Football player will be divided into 2 groups by simple random sampling by using cheat method. Then assessment will be taken of those players by the prepared assessment form. Then speed, agility, and endurance will be measured by using 30meter sprint test, Agility t test and yoyo endurance test respectively. Group 1 will be given RAMP warm up for 4 weeks. Group 2 will be given normal warm up for 4 weeks. Then post speed, agility, and endurance will be measured by using 30meter sprint test, agility t test and yoyo endurance test respectively.
