: The patients of age 19-70yrs of either gender of ASA category II or III undergoing cardiac surgeries under general anesthesia who are hemodynamically stable and declared fit in preanesthetic checkup.
1.Patient refused to participate in study.
2.Known sensitivity or contraindication to drugs used in the study
3.History of psychological disorders (e.g. patients on antidepressants or anti psychotic medications)
4.Patients on regular opioid medications for chronic pain (i.e. pain more than 3 months)
5.Patients with documented impairment of hepatic and/or kidney functions.
