1.Age =18 years and = 80 years
2.Acute traumatic brain injury; Diffuse axonal injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage (non-aneurysmal rupture); intracranial or intraventricular hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, epidural hematoma (either primary or anticoagulants-associated)
3.Moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (TBI): Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) of 3 – 12
1.Post-anoxic coma; status epilepticus without underlying brain injury; central nervous system (CNS) infections (community-acquired; hospital-acquired; ventriculitis; post-operative)
2.Known previous neurological disease, causing significant cognitive and/or motor handicap
3.Hemorrhage due to arterio-venous malformation (AVM), cavernous malformation (CM), cerebral aneurysm rupture or brain tumor
4.Hypertensive ICH or IVH
5.Pregnancy or Nephrotic syndrome diagnosed patient
6.DNR (do not resuscitate) orders
