Knowledge of German language
Android- or iOS-Smartphones
all sexes
Acne: clinically proben (facial Acne papulopustulosa or Acne papulopustulosa et comedonica), mild to moderate (Grade 2 - 8 according Leeds Scale of Acne Grading), al least 10 inflammatory lesions, no treatment other than OTC
control group: healthy skin of all types

Exclusion Criteria

medical acne treatment
antibiotics
pre- or probiotics
pregnancy, breast feeding
underweight or obesity (BMI < 18,5 kg/m2, BMI = 30 kg/m2)
inflammatory skin condition other than acne
intestinal diseases
malignant diseases
Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes mellitus
food intolerance/allergies
autoimmune diseases
eating disorders
drug addiction
shift work
