ASA physical classification I & II paediatric patients undergoing short elective surgeries up to 2 hours duration under general anaesthesia using I-gel supraglottic airway.
Paediatric patients with reactive airway, anticipated difficult airway, risk of aspiration, overweight ( Body-mass index at or above 95th percentile), underweight (Body-mass index at or below 5th percentile), history of seizure disorder, psychiatric disorder, increased intracranial or intraocular pressure, contraindications for propofol and ketamine will be excluded from study.
