Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Adult patients (18\-65 yrs) of either sex belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status classification I/II and scheduled for elective unilateral arthroscopic shoulder surgery under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patientâ??s refusal
  • 2\. Preexisting respiratory dysfunction.
  • 3\. History of cardiac, renal or hepatic disease
  • 4\. Preexisting neurologic deficits or neuropathy affecting the brachial plexus
  • 5\. Contraindications to the peripheral nerve blocks (eg. Coagulopathy)
  • History of known Local Anesthetic allergy
  • Patients undergoing revision, planned open, or irrigation and debridement procedures
