Brief Summary

Nashtartava is a disease that includes symptoms like delayed, irregular and scanty menses, if not diagnosed and treated early, may become the cause for infertility. Numerous formulations are mentioned  in Ayurveda for the treatment of Nashtartava , among them Rajahpravartaka yoga which is having Rajahpravartana karma, which would be, efficacious and beneficial for larger scale of community. So in present study an attempt is made to evaluate and compare the efficacy of Rajahpravartaka yoga with Tila kalka in the management of Nashtartava.

Inclusion Criteria

Patients fulfilling the diagnostic criteria will be selected for the study irrespective of the marital status with haemoglobin percentage more than or equal to 8gm%.

Exclusion Criteria
  • Pregnant and lactating women.
  • History of abortion in past 3 months.
  • Congenital abnormalities of reproductive tract.
  • Patients who are using oral contraceptive pills and IUCDs. 5.
  • Patients with diabetes mellitus, hypertension, thyroid abnormalities, hyperprolactinaemia, PID and other systemic disorders.
  • Benign and malignant tumours of reproductive system.
