Patients undergoing elective cranial surgeries
Anticipated blood transfusion
American Society of Anesthesiologists class 1 & 2
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal
Patients who received transfusion preoperatively
Transfusion of both storage age of blood in same patient
Pregnancy
Psychiatry or neurological disorders

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To determine the association of RBC storage duration with cerebral blood oxygenation by jugular venous oxygen saturation (SjvO2) in elective cranial surgeries.Timepoint: Cerebral oxygenation parameters & peripheral perfusion parameters will be noted at the interval of 1 hour post transfusion till the end of surgery.
