Inclusion Criteria
Forty-four patients aged more than 19 years , with an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status of I-III, scheduled to undergo open thoracotomy
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with neurologic, mental dysfunction, patients with impaired kidney and liver function, patients with impaired heart function or circulation, patients with drug abuse, allergic reaction to dexmedetomidine or levobupivacaine, patients with neurologic deficit, bleeding tendency, infectious state at thorax, pregnancy
