Inclusion Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:
Male gender
Age: 18-40 years
BMI: 18.9-29.9 kg/m²
Previous athletic activity of < 60-120min/week

Exclusion Criteria

Exclusion Criteria:
Contraindications to exercise according to ACSM guidelines.
Contraindications to supplemental nutrition or ergogenic supplements
Anamnetic evidence of cardiovascular disease
Acute or chronic injuries of the lower extremities (esp. pre-existing achillodynia)

Change in tendon morphology after the 14-week training phase and intake of collagen peptides compared to placebo.
