•knee joint complaints of arthritic genesis
•-arthritis of the knee joint according to Kellgren-Lawrence stage II-III
•-no acute traumatic injury of the knee joint
•-no indication of inflammatory (rheumatic/bacterial/viral) genesis of the pain symptoms

•-intra-articular injections (cortisol, hyaluronic acid, etc.) in the last 6 months
•-intake of chrondroprotective dietary supplements (glucoasmin, chrondroitin, etc.) in the last 6 months
•-intake of collagen peptides or UC-II collagen in the last 6 months
•-extreme pain symptoms requiring high-dose analgesic therapy over a prolonged period (>2 weeks) or intra-articular injection treatment or surgical therapy
•-intolerance to ingredients of the dietary supplement to be tested
•-no consumption of animal products or pork products
•-known allergy/reaction to contrast media used in medical diagnostics (especially dotarem)
•-known bronchial asthma or allergy
•-kidney disease
•-liver disease
•-past or upcoming organ transplantation
•-symptomatic cardiovascular disease
•-treatment with a beta blocker
•-known cramping disorder
•-existing pregnancy or desire to have children
•-very poor arm veins
•-metallic, magnetic and electronic implants, pacemakers, prostheses or other foreign bodies
