- •Adult Patients in the above age group with diagonsis of Acute exacerbation of COPD as per GOLD guidelines
排除标准
- •1.patient refusal
- •2.need for endotracheal intubation on admission to protect the airways and to mange respiratory secreations
- •3.inability to protect the airways -unconscious patients,patients with cva,confused and agitated patients
- •4.inability to fit the niv mask due to skeletal deformity
