入选标准
- •A.Inclusion criteria (prevalence of Periodontitis):
- •1)A subject with a panoramic radiograph showing acceptable details of all present teeth and interdental areas.
- •2)Age ranging from 18 to 60 years and belonging to both genders.
- •3)OPGs with at least 20 permanent teeth, excluding third molars.
- •4)OPGs taken from CBCT machines and high resolution standardized OPG machines.
- •B.Inclusion criteria (periodontal bone loss patterns):
- •1.A subject with a panoramic radiograph showing acceptable details of all present teeth and interdental areas.
- •2.The panoramic radiograph is standardized with incorporated measurement scale.
- •3.OPGs taken from CBCT machines and high resolution standardized OPG machines.
- •4.Age ranging from 18 to 60 years and belonging to both genders.
- •5.OPGs with at least 20 permanent teeth, excluding third molars.
- •6.An identifiable marginal periodontal bone loss extending physiologic limits on >1 interdental site, AND/OR vertical bone loss pattern at least on 1 site, AND/OR radiolucent furcation area at least on one tooth, excluding third molars.
- •C.Inclusion criteria (clinical-radiographic correlation):
- •1.A subject with periodontitis diagnosis (Stage-I to Stage-IV as per 2017- Classification of Periodontal and Peri-implant diseases and conditions) and having at least 20 permanent teeth excluding third molars.
- •2.The subject with a panoramic radiograph showing acceptable details of all present teeth and interdental areas.
- •3.The panoramic radiograph is standardized with incorporated measurement scale.
- •4.OPGs taken from CBCT machines and high resolut

- •A.Exclusion criteria (prevalence of Periodontitis):
- •1)OPGs with overlapping of multiple teeth, distorted anterior areas, complex and comminuted fractures of jaws, large areas affected by tumors and malignancies will be excluded.
- •B.Exclusion criteria (periodontal bone loss patterns):
- •1.OPGs with overlapping of multiple teeth, distorted anterior areas, complex and comminuted fractures of jaws, large areas affected by tumors and malignancies will be excluded.
- •2.Marginal periodontal bone loss complicated by presence of concomitant hard tissue pathologies, e.g., cysts, tumors, periapical lesions, hypercementosis, osteomyelitis, etc.
- •C.Exclusion criteria (clinical-radiographic correlation):
- •1.The subjects and OPGs with overlapping of multiple teeth, distorted anterior areas, complex and comminuted fractures of jaws, large areas affected by tumors and malignancies will be excluded.
- •2.Marginal (orthograde) periodontal bone loss complicated by presence of concomitant hard tissue pathologies, e.g., cysts, tumors, periapical lesions, hypercementosis, osteomyelitis, etc.
- •3.A subject who has undergone periodontal regenerative therapy.
- •4.A subject with any form of periodontal therapy in the last 6 months.
- •Subject withdrawal criteria:
- •1.Any person wants to exit the study after inclusion because of any reason.
- •2.Any person not giving permission for radiographic exposure.
- •3.Any person wants to withdraw his/ her consent any time during the study.
