简要总结
This study compared the effects of PechaKucha and traditional PowerPoint presentation techniques used for Parkinson's disease education on nurses' knowledge and awareness levels. The study used a two-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design. A total of 72 nurses were assigned to the PechaKucha intervention group (n=36) or the PowerPoint control group (n=36) using 1:1 block randomization. Both groups received Parkinson's disease education with identical educational content and learning objectives. The PechaKucha presentation consisted of 20 slides automatically advancing every 20 seconds, whereas the PowerPoint presentation was delivered using a conventional flexible-paced format. Parkinson's disease knowledge and awareness were assessed before and immediately after the educational intervention. The study aimed to determine whether the presentation technique influenced nurses' knowledge and awareness following Parkinson's disease education.

研究组 & 干预措施
PechaKucha Group
Participants in this arm received Parkinson's disease education using the PechaKucha presentation technique. The presentation consisted of 20 slides that automatically advanced every 20 seconds, with a total presentation duration of 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
干预措施: PechaKucha-Based Parkinson's Disease Education (Other)
PowerPoint Group
Participants in this arm received Parkinson's disease education using a traditional PowerPoint presentation. The presentation consisted of 23 slides, was delivered with flexible pacing, and lasted approximately 30-35 minutes.

结局指标
主要结局
Change in Parkinson's Disease Knowledge Score
时间窗: Baseline and immediately after the educational intervention
Parkinson's disease knowledge was assessed using the 20-item Parkinson's Disease Knowledge Test. Each correct answer was scored as 1 and each incorrect answer as 0, yielding a total score ranging from 0 to 20. Higher scores indicate greater knowledge of Parkinson's disease. Change in knowledge was evaluated by comparing pre-intervention and immediate post-intervention scores.
次要结局
- Change in Parkinson's Disease Awareness Score(Baseline and immediately after the educational intervention)
