- All
入选标准
- •(i) aged 18 and above
- •(ii) underwent open thyroid or parathyroid surgery
- •(iii) able to give informed consent.
排除标准
- •(i) previous neck incision over the site of intended incision
- •(ii) history of allergy, sensitivity or contraindicated to local anaesthetic, NSAID, opioids and paracetamol
- •(iii) cervical lymphadenopathy needing radical neck dissection
- •(iv) co-morbidities of renal failure, liver failure, history of peptic ulcer, bronchial asthma, clotting disorder
- •(v) poorly controlled diabetes mellitus, hypertension and heart disease
- •(vi) unable to provide informed consent
