Inclusion Criteria
Suficient German language skills
- Age between 18 and 65 Jahren
- Ability to give informed consent
- Diagnosis Tourette syndrome (ICD 10)
- Thalamic deep brain stimulation
Exclusion Criteria
- Suicidal tendencies
- Psychotic symptoms
- Drug addiction
- Pregnancy or nursing period
- Severe internistic illness
- Severe neurological disorder
- Mental retardation
- Accomodation via PsychKG §14
- Use of benzodiazepine
- Withdrawal of informed consent

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Changes in EEG frequency bands evoked by thalamic deep brain stimulation. Recordings will follow an ABABAB design. The primary outcome is the EEG signal difference between on and off stimulation.

Name Time Method Predicition of EEG changes by overlap of volumes of tissue activitated with specific thalamic nuclei.
